Father Scott Potthoff

Father Potthoff was born in Princeton, Illinois on December 30, 1986.  He grew up in rural Ladd with his parents Steve and Diana Potthoff along with two older brothers and two older sisters.  He attended Ladd Grade School and St. Bede Academy.  After high school he attended Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

He was ordained by Bishop Daniel Jenky on May 25, 2013.  Since being ordained he has served as Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph in Pekin and Sacre Coeur in Creve Coeur (2013); Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph in Pekin (2014) and Parochial Vicar at St. Pius X in Rock Island (2016).  He became Administrator, Nativity of Our Lord, Spring Valley in 2018 and Pastor in 2019.
